Published a book on Maintenance Law and Women. Having extensive experience of working with women, children and people with disabilities on grass route, national and international level through women and student movement, development and research projects and organizational work for the last thirty years and more. The receiver of the British technical award (UK) and Ford international fellowship (USA). Founder Trustee of Rachana and devotes full time to the organization. Leading Rachana as Executive director in association with Rachana’s core team.
Ms. Kalpana Ghule, Mr. Sripad Konde, Ms. Vijaya Kumbhar, associated with Rachana’s work for the last 20 to 27 years and has vast experience of working on a grass-roots level. They become a part of the core team. Ms. Rajshri Jadhav, Ms. Madhuri Umberkar, Ms. Mauyari Pawale and Ms. Shubhangi Ghadge are upcoming members of the team.
Asawari is associated with Rachana’s work from the beginning. She has a bachelor degree in microbiology and a diploma in laboratory technician. Her areas of interest include equal opportunities for women, girl child education and violence against women. She was active in the women movement and associated with women development work for a long time. Also associated with Marathi experimental and commercial theatres since 1986. Have worked with Pandit Satyadev Dubey, Chandrakant Kulkarni. These are to name a few Films –“Mukta” “Dr Ambedkar” directed by Dr. Jabbar Patel “Surajka Satwan Ghoda” directed by Shyam Benegal in which she has acted. At present, she is working on women entrepreneurship initiatives to impart in villages.
Avinash is Bachelor in Architect. Working as Architect. He Designed environment-friendly structures with innovative ideas. Involved with Lok-Vidyan Sanghatana &Vasundhara Science Centre’s work voluntarily. Associated with Rachana work since its beginning.
Tukaram Rasal is a founder member of the organisation and contributing to its finance and administration related work from the beginning. He is a graduate and has 30 + years of experience in the HR field. He worked for people with disabilities, tribal communities, nomadic tribes children and slum children’s development through various organisations like NASEOH, Lok-Vigyan organisation, TDH, Tribal organisations est.
Abhay is the founder-director of a leading Strategy, Marketing and CRM Consultancy and Training firm – Karwak, based in Pune – India. He has an Electronics Engineering background with MBA in Marketing and B.Sc. Horticulture. Connected with Social Movement / Organizations for last 25+ years since College days, Which included Satyashodh ( Innovative approach to blind Education), Nari Samata Manch (An Organisation working for Man-Woman equality and Women Issues), Purush Uvaach (A men’s group working on Man-Woman equality), Andhamitra (Friends of blind – Founder Member), Sadhana Village (Working on mentally challenged people) and Swadhar (Employment generations and rehabilitation of rural blind).
Ms. Vrushali is Credit Manager in Axis Bank Ltd. Pune. She is a master of business administration. She is associated with Rachana’s work since 2015. She is contributing to building a volunteers network and its support towards Rachana’s work process.
Vaishali is an engineer and has vast experience working in the automobile industry.
She works in the private sector as an assistant manager and is associated with the Rachana organization’s work as a volunteer for the last five years.
Bhagyashri is a graduate of commerce. She has been involved with the Education for unprivileged children for over 5 years. She is associated with Rachana work for seven years.
